Kayla Hamm, DPT

Doctor of Physical Therapy, PT, DPT; Founding Memb

Originally from Oregon, Kayla Hamm studied Exercise and Sports Science at Oregon State University before earning a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Midwestern University. Her path to physical therapy was inspired by personal experience—recovering from multiple sports-related injuries and witnessing the impact of chronic pain on her mother, who lived with rheumatoid arthritis. These experiences sparked a deep commitment to helping others move and feel better.

As a founding member of the Myo LA team in 2018, Kayla has played a key role in shaping a modern, holistic approach to movement health. She has spoken on several panels and led movement workshops focused on injury and pain prevention, performance optimization, and longevity. Kayla especially enjoys working with runners, individuals managing chronic pain, and those looking to improve posture and movement quality in their everyday lives.
